Two casks of Wild series no. 15. as these are not exactly the same, they are bottled as Batch 1 and Batch 2
This very special bottling comes from the Versailles cauldron, which is the only remaining single potstill cauldron made of wood that still works.
The rum was distilled in 1988, while the still was at the Enmore distillery. The distillery was closed in 1994 and the boilers later ended up at the Demerara distillery.
In this rum you get a really soft and warm rum
The notes are, due to the extreme age, powerful and intense.
Here are notes of plum, burnt caramel, dark brown sugar, dried fruit, tobacco and lots of wood.
